Introductory note

The Invocation to Horus, that Aleister Crowley did in Cairo during the Equinox of the Gods (20 March 1904 e.v.), produced the beginning of the new Eon of Horus, and few days later the physical appearance of Aiwas – a preter-human entity – that during three days (from noon to one on 8-9-10 April) dictated him the three chapters that constitute the Liber Legis (technically called “Liber AL vel Legis”). This event is known as the “Revelation of Cairo”, and Crowley became the prophet of the new Eon of Horus, the scribe of the Gods, the prophet Ankh-af-na-Khonsu, the priest of the princes.

The Liber Legis (“The Book of Law”) is made up of three chapters (the first chapter is dedicated to Nuit, the second is dedicated to Hadit and the third is dedicated to Ra-Hoor-Khuit) and of a Foreword (the Foreword is dedicated to Hoor-paar-Kraat) that was dictated (11 July 1978 e.v.) in Trieste by AL (a word meaning “God”).

The Foreword to the Liber AL vel Legis (“The Book of the Law of God”) was dictated after the three chapters, because Aiwass is the minister of Hoor-paar-Kraat (identifying in “AL”) and preceeds him in time.

The Liber Legis – in a magic sense – was published by Aleister Crowley for four times, and every publication was followed by a war: the War of the Balkans, the First World War, the Chinese-Japanese War, and the Second World War.

The first three wars broke out nine months after the publication of the Book of Law, while the fourth broke out after twenty-one months. This gives us a mathematical mean of twelve months (9 + 9 + 9 + 21 = 48; 48 : 4 = 12).

The Liber Legis – in a magic sense – was published by me for five times and its publications caused social, natural and magic reactions.

The first inside publication (22 September 1980 e.v.) of the Liber Legis caused a social (political) reaction after nine months, the second inside publication (21 December 1980 e.v.) caused a natural reaction (in Nature) after fifteen months, and the third external publication (22 December 1982 e.v.) caused a magic (energetic) reaction after twelve months.

At this point, we can notice that the time sum of the effects of the first three publications of the Book of Law gives us the mathematical mean of twelve months (9 + 15 + 12 = 36; 36 : 3 = 12). Moreover, we have to notice that the third external publication of the Liber Legis was accompanied, after three months, by the first partial and inside publication of the Liber AHBH (technically called “Liber AM vel Legis”), the “Book of Love” concerning the Eon of Maat.

The fourth external publication (23 September 1985 e.v.) of the Liber Legis was accompanied by the second partial and external publication of the Liber AHBH and both caused a natural reaction (in Nature) after thirty-nine months.

Finally, the fifth external publication (22 December 1997 e.v.) of the Liber Legis was presented together with my altered comment and was accompanied, after twenty-four months, by the fifth external publication of the Liber AHBH, presented with my first comment. Both publications caused the same social (politic-economic) reaction, forty-five months after the publication of the Liber Legis and twenty-one months after the publication of the Liber AHBH.

The translation of the Book of Law, from English to Italian, with its first comment – or altered comment – contains some mistakes. In 1997 I couldn’t reveal the whole real content of the book, when the text was presented with its comment, because the Eon of Horus was still going on. Moreover, I introduced a series of capital letters to alter the importance given to words.

Here is presented – in a magic sense – my sixth (the tenth) and last publication of the Liber Legis (together with its true comment), accompanied by the sixth and last publication of the Liber AHBH (together with its second comment).

The Sixth Publication
20 March 2008 e.v.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

The translation of the Liber Legis from English into Italian as is presented here is perfect and its second comment – or true comment – is complete. Now I can do it because we entered (20 March 2000 e.v.) in the Mahon of Horus-Maat.

Love is the law, love under will.

Aleister Crowley did in total three comments to the Liber Legis: the synthetic comment, the short comment and the long comment. The last two are partial comments… trying to interpret the lines that constitute the Book of Law. The synthetic comment, on the contrary, is the one that he made with the wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khu-it.

As far as the comments to the text are concerned, the Liber Legis is clear: two are the prophets and two are the comments. One is the synthetic comment (see AL, I, 36.) and the other is the true comment (see AL, III, 40.). Therefore, only the two prophets are allowed to comment the Liber Legis.

Every man and every woman is a star.

Finally now all the instructions regarding the publication of the Liber Legis have been followed (see AL, III, 39.).

Why was 20 March 2008 chosen for the sixth publication of the Liber Legis with the sixth of the Liber AHBH?

To answer this question, we must think about the idea of the Dragon in its male appearance.

In a celestial view, the Dragon is represented by the Red Dragon Typhon (the seven stars of Orion with Star Sirius of the Canis Major) and, in a terrestrial view, by the Red Dragon-Snake Leviathan, the Wild Beast with Eight Heads and Thirteen Horns (the eight islands of Argonia that will emerge from the sea: seven in the Atlantic Ocean and the eighth in the Pacific Ocean).

The Dragon, meant from a terrestrial point of view, hides a time secret. This is the secret, this is the message:

“Eight are the Heads of the Great Scarlet Dragon.

“Eight are the Seals that have to be unsealed.

“The first Seal was unsealed in 1904.

“Thirteen years for each Seal, in total 104 years”.

In the end, the Eight Heads of the Dragon-Snake are the eight space stations ad the Thirteen Horns are the years for each station, from 20 March 1904 (Equinox of the Gods) to 20 March 2008.

In practice, in the Dragon’s introductory period, all ten publications of the Book of Law had to be done. Moreover, from 21 March 1982 (Great Equinox) to 20 March 2008, the six publications of the Book of Love had to be done.

When will the effect of the sixth publication of the Liber Legis with the sixth publication of the Liber AHBH take place?

To answer this question, we must consider the time relation between the first five publications of the Book of Law.

We have seen that the time sum of the effects of the first three publications of the Book of Law is thirty-six months. We have also seen that the effect of the fourth publication of the book took place after thirty-nine months and the effect of the fifth after forty-five months.

If we apply the gematria we notice: 36 = 9 (3 + 6); 39 = 12 (3 + 9); 45 = 9 (4 + 5). Therefore we obtain the following number series: 9 – 12 – 9.

By the law that rules the balance between opposite couples of numbers, we must correspond the number twelve (9 – 12 – 9 – 12) to the effect of the sixth publication of the Liber Legis.

We must also observe the following:

A) The effect of the fourth publication of the Liber Legis took place in thirty-nine months, three months more than the time sum of the effects of the previous three.

B) The effect of the fifth publication of the Liber Legis took place in forty-five months, six months more than the effect of the fourth.

With these data, we can ask the following question: “Compared to the effect of the fifth publication of the book, which will be the number of months higher than forty-five that results into number twelve?”. We can answer that applying to the number sequence (9 – 12 – 9 – 12) the correct number progression [36 – 39 (+ 3), 39 – 45 (+ 6), 45 – 57 (+ 12)], the first possible number is fifty-seven (5 + 7 = 12). Therefore the effect of the sixth publication of the Liber Legis will take place after fifty-seven months, twelve more that effect of the fifth, exactly on 21 December 2012.

How is it possible that the joint publication of Liber Legis and Liber AHBH can sort out an effect when the Eon of Horus and that of Maat are over with the advent (20 March 2000 e.v.) of the Mahon of Horus-Maat?

To answer this question we must say that the Eon of Horus is inspired by Ra-Hoor-Khuit (East), while the Eon of Maat is inspired by the goddess Maat (West) and that the Eon of Maat is grafted, on a time level, in the Eon of Horus. Moreover we have to notice that the Liber Legis (see AL, III, 34.) claims that, at the Great Equinox (20 March 2000 e.v.), the blessing is no more given to Ra-Hoor-Khuit (a form of Horus), because Hrumachis rises (a form of Horus), the Lord of the double horizon (East-West), the Lord of the Mahon of Horus-Maat. Therefore, the last joint publication of Liber Legis and Liber AHBH – Horus with Maat – has the power to give an effect, its last effect.

When Aiwas dictated the Liber Legis he didn’t give Aleister Crowley neither the punctuation nor the capital letters in the text. Crowley said indeed that the punctuation of his work was made after transcription, and that at that moment he only had a set of hasty scribbling from the dictation. As far as capital letters are concerned, however, Crowley didn’t want to modify them compared to the original manuscript, so that he didn’t make mistakes and alter the importance given to words. Thus, even though I tried to be faithful to the original manuscript, I had to intervene where necessary, modifying something.

In some parts of the original text, some words that appear with exclamation marks are followed by words in small letters. It was not difficult to place capital letters after exclamation marks, but in some parts it was mandatory to keep the form in small letters. In other parts some words appear written with small letters, but have to be written with capital letters, thus I modified them. Finally, I also modified some capital letters that have to be written with small letters.
